Some time ago, a friend called me: "Brother, my car has arrived, Benda Black Flag 950, come and help me take a look!" "He just mentioned a new car, and I'm worried about choosing a car.Perfect timing! I also get the chance to touch this highly-praised Dark Knight with my own hands and see if it's really as good as people say online!

The moment I saw the actual motorcycle, I knew exactly why it’s called the Black Warrior. The bike’s full, low-slung muscular look is indeed quite different from ordinary cruisers. Especially its huge V4 engine, which takes up nearly all the space in the middle of the frame and looks extremely powerful. When I sat on it, with a seat height of 695 mm,

both feet could touch the ground steadily for someone like me who’s just over 1.7 meters tall — this is really user-friendly for a cruiser. However, with a weight of 242 kg, it does take some effort to move the bike when it’s stationary.

The moment you ignite the engine, the distinctive smooth exhaust note of a four-cylinder engine kicks in—deep yet not harsh. It features a really fun technology called cylinder deactivation at idle. When waiting at a red light, the car automatically shuts off two cylinders, instantly reducing vibration and heat, making it feel very intelligent. When actually riding, it turns out to be easier to handle than expected. The throttle response is responsive, with power delivered linearly. The chassis is solid and stable through corners; despite its long body, it is not as bulky to control as imagined.

Along the way, I really liked several of its small design features. The round TFT color screen displays information clearly and has a retro look; the belt drive is quiet and saves the trouble of chain maintenance; the built-in cruise control will definitely make long rides or highway trips much more comfortable. In terms of configuration, it is equipped with safety electronic controls such as ABS and TCS, which can also be turned off individually.

Despite its large size, the vehicle handles with great agility; riding slowly in traffic feels anything but cumbersome. The throttle response is precise and intuitive, delivering a steady, surging power. Acceleration is exceptionally linear—even beyond 80 kilometers per hour, twisting the throttle still unleashes ample reserve strength. To my surprise, this high-displacement touring bike offers incredibly confident braking. Equipped with front and rear Brembo calipers, the brakes engage immediately with a light squeeze, providing strong, highly controllable stopping power.

Of course, it is not perfect either. The vehicle is indeed quite heavy, requiring more effort to maneuver when parking; with such a large engine displacement, fuel consumption is certainly not its strong suit. But all these drawbacks seem acceptable when compared to the unique riding charm and joy it brings.
